Thomas is an experienced and independent management consulting professional and advisor. He is specialized in e-commerce, digitalization, and general management functions, mainly in these industries: retailers, packaged consumer goods as well as fashion, sporting goods, and luxury goods companies. Project examples include the concept development and implementation of new online shops, the assessment of selected e-commerce activities of existing online shops, the development of a corporate strategy for a multi-channel retailer or a transformation program for the transition period from an owner- to management-led organizational structure.
Thomas started as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Germany in 2003. From 2008 through 2018, he was the Managing Director in two e-commerce companies in Germany. Based on these strategic, operational and very hands-on experiences, Thomas has been supporting his clients since 2019.
